PAYMENT

1. Tuition & Fees

The total cost of the Masterclass is broken down in two segments:
1. Enrollment fee.
2. Tuition.
All students of the orchestral conducting masterclasses, once accepted, must pay the enrolment fee of the course in which they wish to participate. Enrolment fees will not be refunded if the student cannot or decides not to participate, regardless of the reason. The enrolment fee will only be refunded in case the masterclass is cancelled due to force majeure. Tuition must be paid up to one month before the beginning of each masterclass. The methods of payment differ if the student resides in Chile or if he/she is a foreigner. Costs vary depending on the masterclass, which will be announced in the UPCOMING MASTERCLASSES section of this website.

2. Bank transfer and check information

It must be taken into consideration that each student pays the same amounts (for example, a registration fee of US $ 250 or CLP $ 100,000). To ensure proper monitoring of each payment, it is necessary to assign different numerical endings to the payment of each student which allow them to be identified. For example, Juan González pays US $ 251 (if he is an international student) or $100,001(if he is a student residing in Chile). its ending in 51 (for payments in dollars) or 001 (for payments in pesos) identifies him. Please do not pay until you receive from Maestro Eduardo Browne the amount with the personalized numerical ending.

3. Payment in installments

After paying the registration fee (which is not refundable in any case), payment of tuition in installments is only accepted for students residing in Chile. This can be done in two ways:

1. Payment by credit card: the student will pay the entire tuition on the eduardobrowne.com website. The amount of regular installments (the type of installments that accrue interest) or installments that do not accrue interest (same as cash) will  be negotiated directly by the student with the bank issuing the credit card.

2. Payment with checks: up to 4 checks will be accepted for the payment of the Masterclass with string quartet and up to 5 checks for the Masterclass with string orchestra.

4. Receipt

All students enrolled in the masterclasses will receive two receipts: one for the enrolment fee and another for the tuition payment.

5. Payment of enrolment fee for Chileans or Foreign Residents in Chile

 

Chilean or foreign students with permanent residence in Chile can pay the cost of the enrolment fee in the following ways:

1. Bank Wire Transfer

6. Payment of tuition for Chileans or Foreign Residents in Chile

Chilean or foreign students with permanent residence in Chile can pay the cost of tuition in the following ways: (Notice: Chilean or Foreign Residents in Chile cannot pay the enrolment fee with a credit card).

3. Checks 

Payment is accepted exclusively with checks issued by Chilean banks. Payment can be made in up to four checks for the Masterclass with String Quartet or five checks for the Masterclass with Chamber Orchestra. The checks must be “double-crossed” (which instructs the bank that they are for deposit only) and the sentences LA ORDEN DE and O AL PORTADOR must be crossed out. Please make out the check to Eduardo Browne Ltda.

4. Credit Card

The student will pay the entire tuition on the eduardobrowne.com website. The amount of regular installments (the type of installments that accrue interest) or installments that do not accrue interest (same as cash) will be negotiated directly by the student with the bank issuing the credit card.

7. Payment of enrolment fees and tuition for foreigners without Permanent Residence in Chile

Foreign students who do not have permanent residence in Chile can pay the enrolment fee and the tuition in the following ways:

1. International Bank Wire Transfer in American Dollars

Payment in US dollars will vary depending on the exchange rate of the Dollar with the Chilean Peso on the day the payment will be made. Please notify the organization of the masterclasses before making a payment in dollars. Making an international bank wire transfer in dollars has a cost that you should consult with your bank before sending money. This cost will be paid by the student.

2. PayPal

 

You can pay by credit or debit card through PayPal payment system. You must open an account at www.paypal.com and enter your card details. Payment with cards through PayPal has an additional cost of 12.4% for each payment made, enrollment and tuition separately, which greatly increases the cost to pay. The PayPal fee must be covered by the student
